Franklin City Public Schools provide education for students from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade across three schools.
Student Enrollment: Approximately 1,015 students

Staffing: The division employs over 200 professionals, including more than 80 full-time teachers, support staff, and specialized personnel.

Southampton Academy blends traditional and innovative instruction while fostering academic achievement, character development, leadership, and personal growth.
Paul D. Camp Community College located right here in Franklin and serving Southampton County — offers robust and up-to-date options for both traditional students and working adults. Recent expansions include a fully accredited AAS Nursing program and a Practical Nursing certificate, preparing students to become registered or licensed practical nurses. In addition, Camp’s Career–Technical and Workforce Education programs cover a wide variety of in-demand fields, from medical support (e.g. medical assistant, phlebotomy, EMT) to trades and technical training. Camp’s Regional Workforce Development Center provides flexible, industry-focused training and continuing education to support both individual growth and local employer needs.
Students participating in the After-School Knowledge Program receive tutoring, enrichment activities, computer-based learning, physical education, arts and crafts, and educational field trips, all designed to support academic growth and healthy development.
